Serves 10–12 (1 cup portions)
Stovetop
Brown 500g beef mince with 1 chopped onion in a large soup pot.
Tip in the packet contents, two 400g tins of diced tomatoes and 5 cups water. Bring it up to a hard boil, then cover and let it simmer away for 3–4 hours. Add a splash more water if it tightens up too much, and season with salt and pepper before serving.
Corn and jalapeños are a good addition if you want a bit more going on.

Rathmines Butchery offers local delivery across the Lake Macquarie area. Minimum order for delivery is $100, with a $10 delivery fee. The fee applies only to the following areas:
Standard delivery days are Tuesday and Friday mornings, between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Please place your order online by 10:00pm the day before delivery, or phone the shop during trading hours. Payment can be made by cash or card on delivery.

Rathmines Butchery offers click and collect for orders picked up in store.
Pickup is available from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Please allow a minimum of 2 hours notice between placing your order and collection.
